Strategy before pixels
We start with what you actually sell, who you sell it to, and what the site has to do on a Tuesday morning. Sitemap, content brief, success metrics — all on paper before anyone opens Figma.
Independent web studio · Mataró, Barcelona
EngineBuildFlow is a four-person studio that designs and ships marketing sites, internal tools and storefronts for small operators who'd rather not babysit an agency. We do the strategy, the design, the build, and the unglamorous middle bits — analytics wiring, sensible CMS choices, schema, the lot.
Studios, manufacturers and consultants we've shipped for —
How we work
The studio is small on purpose. These are the four things we hold to on every project — the bits we don\'t negotiate even when the schedule is tight.
We start with what you actually sell, who you sell it to, and what the site has to do on a Tuesday morning. Sitemap, content brief, success metrics — all on paper before anyone opens Figma.
No relay race between studio and dev shop. The same two people who chose the type also wrote the templates and shipped the build. Fewer compromises, fewer surprises in QA.
We use boring, well-documented stacks. Plain PHP, a CMS your team can learn in an afternoon, and a deployment process that doesn't require a senior engineer to push a typo fix.
Every project we ship gets analytics, event tracking and a 30-day check-in. If the homepage hero isn't converting, we know in week two — not in the next quarterly review.
A typical engagement
Every project is different but the shape rarely changes. Here's the rhythm of an average six-week marketing site.
Two workshops, one stakeholder interview, an inventory of what already exists. We leave with a sitemap and a list of writing assignments.
Two distinct visual directions — not three watered-down variants. We present in a flat file, you pick one, we go.
Page-by-page design and front-end build happen in parallel. You see real templates in a staging environment, not Figma frames.
We load real copy and images, set up redirects, write meta and OG, and run a structured QA pass across browsers and devices.
A scheduled go-live window, a recorded walkthrough of the CMS, and a 30-day window where small edits and fixes are on us.
What clients say
Three short notes from clients we\'ve worked with this year. We don\'t edit testimonials beyond fixing typos.
“EngineBuildFlow gave us the first site that actually felt like the company. Marc and Júlia spent two days on-site, watched us work, and made the writing assignments specific. We hit launch on the day we agreed — six weeks earlier.”
“We got three quotes. Two were cheaper, both quoted in vague phases. EngineBuildFlow itemised everything, and the invoice matched the proposal to the cent. That alone was worth the rate.”
“We use the portal every single day. Two of our staff who weren\'t web-people sat through one training session and were comfortable by the end of the week. That was the real win.”
